Overview

Why choose Cast Iron?

Cast iron includes gray iron and ductile iron grades. For pump casings and other equipment housings, material selection depends on loading, fluid conditions, wall geometry, machined interfaces and the required inspection plan. The specified grade, applicable standard, casting route and acceptance criteria should be confirmed against each project drawing.

  • Service-environment compatibility
  • Casting geometry and production route
  • Machining and finishing requirements
  • Inspection and documentation plan

Cast Iron options

Standards, material condition, equivalent designations and final availability are confirmed for each project. No equivalence should be assumed without engineering review.

The grades below are representative, not a complete availability list. Final grade, condition and applicable standard are confirmed during engineering review; cross-standard equivalence is not implied.
