A branch connection joins the straight passage, with grooved ends for the mating coupling. The source photograph shows related fitting sizes.
Material and manufacturing route
The ductile iron blank is produced by sand casting. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.
Finished interfaces
The three end grooves, end faces and bore entrances are finished for the specified coupling. Coating boundaries and connection dimensions are defined in the order.
