Material and manufacturing route
The stainless steel blank is produced by investment casting. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.
Finished interfaces
Both port threads, their end faces and the chamber seating face are specified as finished interfaces. The thread requirement and mating geometry govern acceptance.
