Material and manufacturing route

The stainless steel blank is produced by investment casting. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.

Finished interfaces

The barrel bore, mounting countersinks and leaf contact faces are finished for the pin and mounting arrangement. Movement and clearance requirements follow the assembly drawing.
