Component geometry

A compact thick-section connector combines a large angled bore with a transverse opening and flat contact faces.

Material and manufacturing route

The steel blank is produced by forging. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.

Finished interfaces

The angled bore, transverse hole and contact faces are machined after forging.
