Component geometry
A cylindrical chamber connects to large end flanges and a side opening. The coated exterior remains separate from the machined connection areas.
Material and manufacturing route
The steel blank is produced by sand casting. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.
Finished interfaces
The flange faces, connection holes, internal register and support face are machined against the agreed drawing datums. Pressure acceptance is specified separately for the application.
