Product: Industrial valve mounting bracket
Application: Fluid-control valve assembly
Material: ADC12 aluminum alloy
Process: High-pressure die casting with feature-specific dimensional control
Product and application
The bracket supports an industrial fluid-control valve assembly. Its mounting and mating features must remain compatible with downstream assembly, including when shipping and customer feedback extend beyond the next production cycle.
Project challenge
The sample stage identified a draft-angle issue, which the parties reviewed before production. A later customer assembly exposed a separate undersized feature that had not been detected during sample approval. By the time the earlier nonconformance was confirmed, the following batch had already been produced.

Anonymized comparison from the nonconformance review; the controlled requirement remains governed by the customer drawing.
Manufacturing response
The response separated the sample-stage draft agreement from the later dimensional nonconformance. The affected assembly characteristic was identified and a dedicated physical gauge was introduced for repeat verification.

The project-specific gauge used to check the affected feature before shipment.
Verification and outcome
The later release route required 100% checking of that identified feature. The project continued under the revised inspection route. This case documents containment and corrective control for one feature; it does not claim that all dimensional risk is eliminated or that every Tianlu project uses 100% inspection.
Customer identity, controlled dimensions, datums, prices and internal inspection instructions remain undisclosed.
