Twin upright arms rise from a broad base with transverse pin features. The open center accommodates the mating moving component.
Material and manufacturing route
The ductile iron blank is produced by sand casting. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.
Finished interfaces
The base seating face, pin bores and mounting holes are machined to the assembly datum system. Load and movement requirements are specified by the equipment drawing.
