Material and manufacturing route
The aluminum alloy blank is produced by die casting. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.
Finished interfaces
The boss bores and faces, together with the mounting-foot slots, are machined against the functional mounting datum.
