Component geometry
A cylindrical housing incorporates a threaded top opening, a side interface and projecting ribs.
Material and manufacturing route
The aluminum alloy blank is produced by die casting. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.
Finished interfaces
The side-interface face, upper annular face and shaft opening are completed by machining. The drawing defines which openings belong to the fluid path and which locate the assembly.
