A cylindrical body combines a raised hexagonal end feature and a small side mounting feature.
Material and manufacturing route
The stainless steel blank is produced by investment casting. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.
Finished interfaces
The body bore, end face, hexagonal feature and mounting hole are machined to the drawing. Seat and connection details are confirmed with the mating valve design.
