Component geometry

A right-angle passage connects a female-threaded port to a male-threaded end. A square wrenching pad sits on the elbow body.

Material and manufacturing route

The stainless steel blank is produced by investment casting. Secondary machining completes the functional interfaces identified in the component drawing. Material identity, supply condition and acceptance requirements are agreed for the ordered component.

Finished interfaces

The thread forms, effective lengths and connection faces are finished and checked to the specified interface requirements. Wrenching geometry is retained independently of the sealing surfaces.
