Product: Industrial mounting and support component
Application: Pneumatic or hydraulic equipment assembly
Material: A380 aluminum alloy
Process: High-pressure die casting with trimming, selected machining and black surface treatment
Product and application
This component combines several mounting and support features in one A380 aluminum casting. It is used in an industrial equipment assembly where the attachment points must align consistently and the visible black finish must remain suitable for final installation.

Anonymized CAD view used during project review. Customer dimensions and drawing data are not shown.
Project challenge
The integrated bosses, mounting points and changing sections required tooling and ejection review to limit distortion between batches. The first sample review also showed that the surface finish needed to be darker, smoother and more consistently matte.
Porosity-sensitive areas were considered during the manufacturing review, but this public case does not claim pressure tightness because no publishable leakage-test record was supplied.
Manufacturing approach
The documented route combined tooling review, high-pressure die casting, controlled ejection, trimming, selected machining, black surface treatment and batch inspection. After the first assembly review, the finish setup was adjusted to achieve the approved matte appearance.

A second anonymized model view used to review the component geometry.
Verification and outcome
The release plan used dimensional sampling for the controlled mounting features and visual inspection of the coated surface. Checks focused on the drawing-defined interfaces, color consistency, surface smoothness and visible coating defects.
The component progressed from tooling and sample review into repeat production. The project record supports repeat quarterly orders and additional related mounting components, without publishing customer identity, controlled dimensions, prices or unsupported performance percentages.
